AI reporting automation

We automate management reporting: gathering the data, checking it, building the report and explaining what changed, so the report is ready when the period closes.

The short answer

AI reporting automation collects data from your systems, checks it for gaps and anomalies, produces the reports and drafts a plain-language summary of what changed and why. Reports arrive on schedule without anyone assembling them. BookMyTechies builds it on Power BI or Zoho Analytics, connected to your systems.

Reports arrive late and say what happened, not why

Monthly reports are built by exporting data, pasting it into spreadsheets and adjusting it by hand. By the time they are ready, the month they describe is long past, and the people who built them have had no time to analyse them.

Managers receive numbers without explanation.

How the work is usually done today

  1. Data is exported from several systems
  2. It is cleaned and combined in spreadsheets
  3. Charts and tables are updated by hand
  4. Someone writes a commentary, if time allows
  5. The report is emailed, often late

What AI changes

Assembly is automated, and the system also looks for what deserves attention.

Gathers data automatically

Figures pulled from each system on schedule, with no exports.

Checks before reporting

Missing data, duplicates and unusual values flagged before anyone relies on them.

Explains the changes

A draft commentary on what moved and the likely drivers.

Answers questions

Managers ask follow-up questions in plain language and get figures back.

How the automation works

A reporting cycle runs like this.

  1. Collect

Data is refreshed from every source.

    Handled byYour systems
  2. Validate

Checks are run and problems flagged.

  3. Build

    Reports and dashboards are updated.

    Handled byYour systems
  4. Explain

A commentary is drafted and reviewed by the report owner.

    Handled byAI and person
  5. Deliver

The report is sent to each manager, with access by role.

Where people stay in control

A report is a statement the business stands behind, so a person owns it.

  • The report owner reviews commentary before circulation
  • Each measure has one agreed definition
  • Flagged data problems are resolved, not hidden
  • Access to figures follows your existing permissions

Security and governance

  • The AI works only with the data and systems it has been given access to
  • Every automated action is logged with what was done, when and why
  • Confidential data is handled under your access rules, and we agree where it is processed before work starts

What you can expect

Results depend on your volumes and how clean your data is, so we measure a baseline first and report against it. We do not quote figures before we have seen the process.

  • Reports ready when the period closes
  • Problems in the data found before they mislead
  • Managers who understand the movement, not just the number
  • Analysts freed to analyse

Common questions

Do we need Power BI or Zoho Analytics?

One of them, or a similar tool, is the usual foundation. We recommend based on the systems you already use.

Can the commentary be trusted?

It is a draft built from the data, and the report owner reviews it. It is strongest at describing what changed and weaker at knowing reasons that are not in the data.

Can managers ask their own questions?

Yes. Both tools allow questions in plain language, answered from the same governed data.

What if our data is poor?

The validation step exposes the problems. Fixing data at its source is often the first piece of work.
